Jem Brent(-Hunt)
At 16 he gained a vast amount of entertainment experience at one of the UK’s leading holiday park companies and within 2 years, was the lead performer and acting entertainments manager.
After winning The All England tap dancing championship Jem was asked to audition for the English National Tour of “42nd Street” where he joined the cast alongside Bonnie Langford.
He then joined the touring theatre show Evita with Marti Webb, before moving To Germany to join the cast of Starlight Express as Dustin, followed by The Rocky Horror Show as Riff Raff, the original German cast of Rent, Saturday Night Fever where he became assistant director, Crazy For You and came full circle when he joined the European revival of 42nd Street as the lead, Billy Lawlor.
Through pantomime performances and concerts Jem has been lucky enough to work with some of the world’s favourite stars including, Robbie Williams, Barbara Windsor, Gordon Kaye, Trevor Bannister, Alanis Morrisette, Bryan Adams to mention a few.
After living and performing in Germany for over 12 years, He finally returned home to the UK. with the opportunity to direct, choreograph and perform for his own company alongside his partner Andy, where they brought their own touch of magic to over 100 theatres and eventually Holiday Parks around Wales.
In 2021 Jem’s Passion for Ru Pauls Drag Race and all things drag saw him put on his heels and bring Sheela Vim to life, the rest is herstory…..
